Emerging from an eclectic background of music, Alexis Pareja has continually sought a new approach to bring forth fresh innovative form to music.  At a very young age he was exposed to the rhythmic pulse of his Colombian culture and other surrounding Latin American countries causing an innate urge to learn the language of music. He started to pursue studying music through self study and later through William Paterson University and Berklee.  

   Co-founding the international touring act, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, at 16 he soon started his journey into a world of heavy twisted labyrinth style music. The band embraced the use of various elements from many other genres of music to continuously push forward into new territory. 2 Eps, 4 full lengths, and a DVD are some of the accomplishments amongst having toured all of Canada, USA, Europe, and Japan extensively. 

Alexis Pareja continues to compose, teach online music lessons, and further explore the endless horizon of music through other various creative projects.
